How Earning money is similar to National Security..?

Name: Anonymous 2014-01-28 20:55

No but really, it is...
Just like national security is (supposedly / arguably) more effective when you don't have to declare it.... So is Earning Money!!
Privacy is like the Tax of the National Security Game, and everyone hates taxes!

[spoilers]Don't spoil it![/spoilers]

Name: Anonymous 2014-01-28 20:58

btw Mods confirmed as government shills ?

Name: Anonymous 2014-01-28 21:02

But taxes are also like Government Welfare Checks...
And privacy would be the Public Welfare Equivalent..

And nobody Likes Welfare Cheats Either!

Name: Anonymous 2014-01-28 21:09

I think an enquiry is in order...
You have a whole office dedicated to making sure people pay their taxes... and another investigating welfare double-dipping..

Both should be looking directly at the government rather than the public, don't you think? Government hasn't been paying it's dues, and it's getting paid selling our info to advertisers without giving anything back (tax evasion and double-dipping right there..)

Name: Anonymous 2014-01-28 21:13

Maybe we should pay taxes in food-stamps, rather than real-money? That's what all the other welfare-recipients get..

Name: Anonymous 2014-01-28 21:16

You want real money you can work for it like everyone else...
Why should you be allowed to spend your welfare on whatever you like? Nobody else is...

Name: Anonymous 2014-01-28 21:18

And the tax office knows everything that everyone spends their money on, so lets see what you spend all this welfare on while we're at it?

Name: Anonymous 2014-01-28 21:21

If anyone deserves privacy, why should it be the already most privileged?
If i have a honest general interest in what the government does, why should you deny it?

Name: Anonymous 2014-01-28 21:25

And if you have a honest general interest in my private life, you can fucking-well ask if you want to know...

Name: Anonymous 2014-01-28 21:32

If government has become a privatized industry, then as a consumer i can choose to not consume your product, just like coca-cola?
One could argue coca-cola has as much interest in public interest as a government? About the only difference is we don't vote who leads coca-cola, but that's only cosmetic... they could if they wanted to..

Name: Anonymous 2014-01-28 21:34

It wouldn't really affect 99% of coca-cola's operations, much like our elected leader...

This may sound a little far out... but to what extent should NSA take credit for broken relationships / divorces..?

You may have heard of LOVEINT... but what do you think it is used for?
I'll tell you, manipulation of people and their views, through the people they hold close...

Lets just say, oh i dunno, lets make it an obvious one, i am not as pro-american as some american might like.. ^^ i don't think it really matters how pro-american i might be, some american will always want more anyway...
So after countless failed attempts to swing my view, who do you think they go after? And of course, particularly if the significant other is not expecting any sort of foreign psychological interference, it all goes bad, what do they care..? They can just hit the next one with the same bullshit until something gives...

So i ask again, how many divorces and broken homes do the NSA have to answer to?

National Security is the system of bug bounties, which makes it
so you don't go broke and start selling exploits on the black market.
