Help making a 4chan userscript

Newbie working on a small 4chan userscript for myself. It adds part of a post to the subject field and a tag if there's an image. There are two more things I need it to do:
1) How do I make a button that hides and shows all posts in a thread?
1) How do I make it work with the updater?

Figured out how to hide posts without toggling anything, so they're only hidden visually. Still no clue how to start making it work with the updater.  http://pastebin.com/K786HsS5
