You log in with your university account and they give you SSH access to a virtual machine/jailed Linux (I'm not really sure anymore) and a subdomain (username.uni.edu). You can run whatever you want on them, and the quota is quite decent (5GB of space with shared Xeons and too much RAM). That's where I ran my bots.
