Zed Shaw wrote an entire web server in C. His code runs on other continents. What widely used programs have you written? Millions of people learn to code from his books every day. He wrote the successor to K&R. I bet you haven't written any programming books, much less any popular programming books.

When Zed Shaw came onto the scene everyone thought, cool, this guy is the Charley Sheen of the IT industry, totally trolling everyone. It didnt take long for people to figure out that Zed is not just a trash talker but a completely erratic psycho who xis looking for an excuse to fuck ANYONE over he can. Kind of like one of those kids in school who likes to knife puppies and cant figure out why people are laughing when he does it. This is a classic example of what happens when trailer trash gets educated, you end up with someone who is unable to use his talents because he cant listen to anyone and no one wants to be around him.
