Back when I was still stuck writing GUI toys for morons, I sure did, and so did every competent co-worker I had. Developing on Windows, regardless of which platform you're developing for, is shit-tier.

I have to agree and lately I've become disillusioned with Linux. I've used multiple distros and it's the same shit: crashes, "An error has occurred", difficulties installing packages, ugly as fuck GUIs, apt-get is pretty much useless now and seriously these days there is more support for mac than linux.
If it wasn't for the nerd community that will help you out with all your problems I wouldn't be use this shit.

Funny, Google just announced one billion devices had been activated at the beginning of this month.
Android is very different from the GNU/Linux operating system because it contains very little of GNU. Indeed, just about the only component in common between Android and GNU/Linux is Linux, the kernel. People who erroneously think “Linux” refers to the entire GNU/Linux combination get tied in knots by these facts, and make paradoxical statements such as “Android contains Linux, but it isn't Linux.” If we avoid starting from the confusion, the situation is simple: Android contains Linux, but not GNU; thus, Android and GNU/Linux are mostly different.
