Maybe you guise can help my problem. I bought a quality Linksys router and a quality USB antenna (Alfa 2000). According to the specs my config could transmit over 500 meters yet I don't have internet in my room next to the living room. Walls are thin so it should not alter the range too much (maybe 20 meters). Problem is that I have very week signal 1/5 and lots of disconnect. Due to an extremely hot summer, we must have the fans turned on all day. Is it possible that maybe the are blowing the waves out of reach? I have check everything else like boosting signals on the router and the card, I even moved my desk to another corner.
Help me please I am desperate now.
