Both Ruby and Python are shit. The language you should all be using is called Scala.

- Strongly typed unlike babby's ruby and python
- Object-oriented, functional language
- Uses the JVM, so you can still do enterprise programming without using Java. And it's faster than Python, Ruby or Perl virtual machines, of course.
- Scalable and reliable, used by very big systems and companies like Twitter, Amazon or SAP. Knowing scala = well paid jobs.

Why the hell would anyone want type protection? How are you supposed to perform arithmetic on text strings and bit-shift floating-point values when the language says you can't?
