He who fights monsters should see to it that he himself does not become a monster. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.
The real irony is him being a unwitting viral spreader of /g/ culture. HE think hes in control, that his "memes" and "shitposts" influence /prog/ while in reality he is being used by the persona he created, which is a hypertrophied conception of /g/. He doesn't see how it can corrupt him.
I've been through this many times, as you start to have a distinct persona you adopt its features and restrict yourself to a certain spectrum of thought. Anonymous too is a "persona" and its hivemind is just a freer version of average poster. One has to consciously change modes of thought and/or personas to never succumb to this phenomenon. This phenomenon is studied in Buddhism extensively(attachment to self-image) and i heartily recommend one to study what is self/non-self duality. The real Anonymous is one who ascended the boundaries of names/personas/cultures/preconceptions and prejudices and thinks outside ``his persona'' and ``his culture''.(I don't claim to be one such Anonymous). A simpler fix is to introspectively view one mental construction of self and distance themself from it. I never think "I am FrozenVoid" but as "I am using the shell of FrozenVoid which i created"(in reality "I" is is just a set of interdependent circumstances "reality" created to make "FrozenVoid" possible).
So, please when you pretend to be a "/g/ro" think at least that its not "a /g/ro is me" but
"/g/ro is a something i adopted to my personality and can remove at will".
If you don't "/g/ro" will become your dominant persona and you become the thing you ``ironically'' hate.
