Here is why America, Saudi Arabia and France should strike Syria and remove Assad:
There's only four potential outcomes for this situation:
1) Rebels and Assad find agreement, civil war ends. This is not going to happen.
2) Assad's side wins against the Rebels, civil war ends. This is also not going to happen, since the Rebels have extensive Saudi support. There is no way for that support to end.
3) Rebel's side wins against Assad with foreign support, civil war ends. This is one of the only two feasible scenarios.
4) No side wins, Civil War drags on, another 2 million refugees flee towards the West, another 100,000 people (or more) are killed in the conflict. This is another possible scenario and the only possible outcome without Western intervention.
It doesn't matter who is right. Saudis will never stop supporting the Rebels. The civil war will not end until Assad is gone.
Anyone who wants to see the massacre end has a moral obligation to support military action against Assad.
