Getting into my HP printer

Name: Anonymous 2013-08-10 20:01

I know HP are bastards who eventually, somehow screw your devices. My printer now says that the printer head is damaged, while I have never touched it. Actually, I don't even use it enough to damage it, or less enough either. Whatever. Is there a way of getting into the system, just to see if there is something odd there? It is a wireless connect printer, so I have its local IP address. What should I do? I would like to avoid buying another one.

I refuse to use printers.Their ink is overpriced, they contribute to killing trees, the paper is an obsolete medium which requires much more space and effort to store.
I don't buy any paper products such as books, magazines or anything on paper(which i call "dead tree material"). I don't need to touch toxic ink and i don't need any paper cuts.
Paper is obsolete. Move on to the 21st century and use digital storage.
