Lisp would be a video of yourself watching the video clip. As your smile dissolves you realize that you are the video, that the you/video distinction was artificial and served only to cloud your perception. A feeling of euphoria rises in you as you catch a glimpse of the nature of the universe. The thoughts race through your mind as you attempt to make the most out of your new-found enlightenment. Alas, your thoughts become erratic, your mind is too small and too weak to understand more than a tiny fraction of it all. The video ends. You cease to exist.

PHP would be a clip of driving an instruction car with an extra steering wheel and an instructor on a busy highway.
While driving 130 km/h, the instructor suddenly starts to have an epileptic fit and start making strange noises. While you frantically try to get the control back, the instructor shits himself and convulses the hell out of the gas pedal and steering wheel, putting the car in a uncontrollable spin, straight into a school bus.
Haskell would be a video of a young student, who tries to map his cleaning operation on his dirty dishes. Frustrated the real world doesn't support functors, he learns the imperative way of doing each dish after each other.
