The spreading viri thread was very relevant to programming, as it exposed an exploit in shiichan. I have a copy of it, I could reupload it, but it would make my ip address public. So could you do it please. The thread was sacred.

You'd understand if you weren't new. Not that I have anything against you for being new, I can't tolerate you in this environment. It would be ok if neither of us could be banned or have our posts removed, but that is not the case.

You are perfectly free to make your own fucking textboard you retarded self-hating kike. The board software is open source and so is tor (if you're too fucking cheap for DNS).
Wow. If there was one thing sacred in /prog/, it was that threads lasted forever, no matter how shit they were. Every other aspect of this board and its culture could be raped endlessly, and has, but threads were forever.
Now? We have lost even that.
Fuck you, mod. You could have been a boon to /prog/, but you are worse than a thousand Frozen Voids, or three or so Nikitas.
>>27
It would have been nice if /prog/ was for programming, but it was always about whatever we managed to make it to be, and that has been programming-related shitposting for the last few years. It was nice in its own way, but now it's different, it's about... lite, gagged shitposting. It's not the same.

If you don't like prog, then go to reddit. You are trying to turn /prog/ into dead reddit.

call it /antisemitism/ instead, since that's bound to represent 95% of your content

I hope that wont be the case, but it isn't my right to control the content. I've been on /prog/ long enough to filter the content I want to see with my own two eyes. I don't need someone to else prune the database, especially when they go and delete historic threads like spreading viri. neva forget it /prog/.

how about this; you could just create two boards, /prog/ and /antisemitism/, and move jewkike threads from /prog/ to /antisemitism/ when necessary

I'm not interested in any /antisemitism/ board. And who knows, maybe nikita will abandon his ways eventually. You never know.

That thread was only created a few days ago.

You are daft. Let me check my local database here...

you can kill the /prog/ on dis.4chan.org, but you can never kill the /prog/ hosted by our hearts.

oh fuck, so the mod isn't just deleting threads on the front page but is going back through all of /prog/ and deleting threads.
should i use --recursive or --mirror to download /prog/?

I did it by getting subject.txt, stripping out everything but the thread numbers, and then wgetting them all. I think that is the easiest. 3 of them can't be parsed normally due to <> injection, so you'll have to find and correct these manually.
