Mentifex, a well-known usenet spammer, made a shitty AI chatbot which a /prog/rider messed with and got silly results by merely hitting enter and not entering any text. This confused the rather simple bot, and it said things like "I AM ANDRU" and "I AM REALLY ANDRU" and then eventually "I AM ERROR".

That's nice. I'm sure that somewhere a group of really cool guys have made a bunch of really cool images by overlaying "I AM ERROR" on pictures of dogs or presidents or something, and were inspired to do so by a poor localization of an NES game. I'm also sure that almost nobody on /prog/ gives a damn about them or their NES game when they say "I ARE ANDRU".
Mentifex you could have been some good 2nd league sci-fi writer, you obviously love to write. (the ``average Joe Appcoder'' was nicely coined, if you haven't stolen it)
Maybe it's not too late... Here's how you could turn the loser crook into some decent underground Douglas Adams. You'd basically need to learn this skill: humor (you can never be a hard-sci author, that's your only move, believe me):
— Look at yourself in the mirror or whatever atheists replaced prayer/confession with. Breathe. Your life is not over there's no reason to give up on your dreams.
— Stop all the scams. You know it's scam. It's bad. Just stop it. Repent and then forget about it all.
— Think of your whole work (30 years of spamming, fake pseudo-schemas in ascii art, harassing real AI researchers in Academia, your fake book, that MindForth on a TRS, the infamous IE6-only ANDRU...) as some kind of happening. A life-long happening. Like that idiot artist who spent 40 years painting numbers. Hipsters will love it.
And of course don't forget to claim your belt for being the ``first spammer ever'' (and still active). You can easily enter the Wikipedia with it. Did you spam Wikipedia already?
It's also true that you were extensively using the word `meme' 10 years before anybody else, but this is not much to brag about.

Yes, in fact, he did. Many of the many documents around the internet defaming him document the fact that he has repeatedly used wikipedia to claim that he is a leading AI researcher.
That's why, even though he's a fat loser, I love him!

AI is a solved problem.

That is what all these Jews lied during 60ies, that AI is already solved, so conscious computers will arise in a few more years
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvin_minsky his "Perceptrons" is now more a historical than practical book, the theory of frames is in wide use.[23] Minsky was an adviser[24] on the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey and is referred to in the movie and book.
Although neural networks are slow even on modern GPUs and AI experts still don't know how to make them learn automatically.

And then in these future decades the AI community will realize it just proved non-dualism wrong and that hard AI is as impossible as the flying spaghetti monster (but not God).
It will be a glorious day.

Nope. In future decades they will first invent cure from cancer. Then use the same technology to reverse-engineer human brain and re-implement it in computers. After that everyone will be wondering why it took 150 years, when it was really easy in essence and could have been done on 2030 hardware.

I could insult you but then I could just leave this... cure from cancer curing cancer

Human brain is somewhat more complex than a homogenous cancer tumor, so analyzing it would take more time.

Besides, AI research is a much lower priority task than medical research. A cancer researcher has selfish interest in developing the cure, as it can safe his own life, while AI research is filled with autistic crooks like Minsky and this Mentifex.

Went right over your head. You don't even understand what cancer exactly is and how it works.

Cancer are damaged cells. For example, Jews are a cancer, because Jewish cells are different from human cells. I.e. any deviation from a norm is a cancer. I think that would be a good definition.

U MENA >>22-kike. By starting the [u] tag directly before the `-' you don't accidentally run afoul of ADVANCED BBCODE. Plus, unless you're using a custom stylesheet (which you aren't because you believe CSS is for wusses, because you're a true [code]/prog/[/spoiler]rider) it makes the underlining constant, which is snazzy.
