I can explain, but first I feel I should say that
JapShit is an extremely offensive term. Please refer to it as
日本学 in order to avoid offending people with a greater sense of verbal aesthetic.
I can not speak for all people, but for me the main draw of
日本学 is that it is Japanese. Japan is the greatest country in the world, populated with the most intelligent men and most beautiful women. The entertainment and art produced by Japan are second to none in every medium. Japan also has an illustrious history, full of honorable figures and exciting events. Their long self-imposed isolation caused Japanese people to develop a unique and interesting culture. As anyone can tell you, Japanese electronics and motor vehicles dominate their respective markets, and the business practices of Japanese companies have been studied and emulated around the world. No one enjoys leisure time more than the people of Japan do; with activities such as tea ceremony, flower arranging, archery, calligraphy, and rock gardens, they are truly masters of the
seikatsuhou, or "art of living". Japan is renowned for their excellent cuisine as well. The average Japanese person eats many vegetables and raw fish each day, which supplies them with excellent daily amounts of Omega-3 fatty acids. This may explain why Japanese people are born with the highest life expectancy. In short, the people of the world would do well to follow the example set by Japan in every aspect of life.
