Can SICP help you get hired for a first job?

Also do you think it would be worth of mentioning on a resume -- like a link to all the exercises you completed on github or something? Srs question. I'm about to be in chapter two and have completed all exercises up to this point so I'm not just talking here.

I find that hard to believe. Kids at my school don't even get to do this at the undergraduate level (we don't have a compilers or functional programming class).
