Running MIT/GNU Scheme on Windows

I am starting SICP and need to run MIT/GNU Scheme.. I installed the program and now that I have I simply have no idea how to program in console or run files. Could anyone be of some assistance?

And to OP what the feck are you on about, why would you want to run it on windoze. Install SBCL, you can probably even use the transsexual apt-get on ur ubuntu. I dont no if ubuntu comes with emacs, if not install it. Download and compile quicklisp. then google ``slime'' and follow some tuts on how to get started.
