Distributed Textboard

Name: Anonymous 2013-04-07 5:34

Idea:
Distributed /prog/ textboard

What:
• Runs as a local web server.
• Everyone keeps portions of the entire /prog/ contents.
• Web interface nearly identical to shii-chan except for an extra "star" button.
• You star the threads or posts or threads you find useful, funny or memorable so they don't get pruned locally (such as to save hard drive space).
• Even if those messages you havent starred are pruned locally, they can still be found on other peers.
• Threads consisting nearly of only low grade shitposting (few stars) show up in light grey text instead of full black.

U MENA USENET, BUTT UIDTHA HTTP ENTERFEICE TO HAF SHO ON WEBE BRAUSSER.

There was one web forum done by a russian guy similar to what ycombinator does, but better, and with more features like voting. I forgot the address. He did it because the karma system on ycombinator is so explitable. Dibs on anyone who recalls it. I think I ignored it since it was built in ¶er1

Replace
• Threads consisting nearly of only low grade shitposting (few stars) show up in light grey text instead of full black.
With:
• Threads which have been marked as spam by a considerable majority of the peer swarm (70%+) are pruned from all peers upon agreement, and spam markings by peer statistics are stored to prevent abuse of the spam system, a peer which marks everything as spam can be manually or automatically blacklisted (based on heuristics), and peers can be whitelisted as well.

Each thread of the message board is represented by a thread of the server process.

What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch? I'll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I've been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in gorilla welfare and I'm the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You're fucking dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that's just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little "clever" comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldn't, you didn't, and now you're paying the price, you goddamn idiot.

How many times has this been proposed? (Over 9000)
How many times has anything actually been done? (0)

Everyone please down this thread and await the next one in earnest.

which is one-to-one, and hence conclude that Y has cardinality greater than or equal to X. Note the element d has no element mapping to it, but this is permitted as we only require a one-to-one mapping, and not necessarily a one-to-one and onto mapping. The advantage of this notion is that it can be extended to infinite sets.

Systems of constructive set theory, such as CST, CZF, and IZF, embed their set axioms in intuitionistic logic instead of first order logic. Yet other systems accept standard first order logic but feature a nonstandard membership relation. These include rough set theory and fuzzy set theory, in which the value of an atomic formula embodying the membership relation is not simply True or False. The Boolean-valued models of ZFC are a related subject.

Don't change these.
