What's with all the freaks?

Hello /prog/, mind telling me what's up with all the weirdo on here? I'm not trying to make a value judgment or anything, but it seems that this board is completely full of nothing but crazed racists, idiotic trolls, complete and total failures, cross-dressers, stalkers, autistic shitposters who defy all posting standards, and worst of all, pedophiles. Surely this can't be representative of the programming community as a whole. Why do such people congregate in this place?

See, this is my example that the state doesn't care. Nikita can spew his hateful, racist garbage and no one cares, because he is a worthless failure and will never have the guts to do any real damage anyway. If he starts posting his plans to kill jews, then he will become a problem and maybe get popped, if he were deemed a credible threat. Is that really such a terrible intrusion?
