Hello /prog/, mind telling me what's up with all the weirdo on here? I'm not trying to make a value judgment or anything, but it seems that this board is completely full of nothing but crazed racists, idiotic trolls, complete and total failures, cross-dressers, stalkers, autistic shitposters who defy all posting standards, and worst of all, pedophiles. Surely this can't be representative of the programming community as a whole. Why do such people congregate in this place?

That's the people who are trolling the first group, and occasionally get trolled themselves.

You're right, it isn't; the programming community has a lot more utterly clueless morons who know less about programming than Mentifex himself.

Why do such people congregate in this place?
Actually what you see are the people who were left behind. We used to have much better autistic shitposters and EXPERT PROGRAMMERS (often the same people), but most of them left. Get progscrape.py and check out the posts from until about mid-2011.
