im such a nerd :p

ROFLMAO IM NERDY NERD AND KNOW ALL BOUT LE MATHS xxXxDDDDD

pi is le epic numbre lol

wat bout tau? its like, suuuuper nerd, its 2*pi and we want it because its more nerdy lol

heheheheheheheheheheheheh

bak to my journalism course, but i still am in lov with maths xDDD its so epic, i know all mathematics names, and know things like analysis and galois fields and all! i just cant solve exercises becuz their boring loooool but i know all the names of mathematics things, and le epic numbers lik pi, and geometry by euclids was the best, and all!!!!!

√i ♥ (√math)^2

Euro vs ISO is just little-endian vs big-endian. Either way, neither are as retarded as Amerishit.

>>10 its me again xD

forgot to say i know 100 digits of pi!!!!!! :p

even though i dont even know where pi comes from LOL so edgy!!!!

hehehehehehe

lol

math is so cooool, when you think without the concepts, just the numbers like pi and scientists and all,

back to my journalism course
know things like analysis and galois fields

what

Quite an experience to live in fear, isn't it? That's what it is to be a slave

I think he is ironing how people read about pi, famous mathematics and how someone just made a mathematical discovery in field X, and think they are "le epic nerdy mathematic lover xD" without even studying mathematics at all, many times, even being a journalist or such, with no more than a half-assed high school knowledge, but that still babbles about how "super discovery on abc conjecture!! Shinichi Mochizuki (an epic mathematic) just solved it!!! it also proves the fermat's last theorem, even though its been solved before blah blah blah blah blah........". In the end, the person only know the history of mathematics and think things like pi are beautiful, for no reason whatsoever.

I understand the irony, but... do they really teach abstract algebra in American high schools? Because Galois theory is not entry level shit as far as I know. Maybe it is for a mathematician is, but I've never seen a journalist that knows what a ring/group/field is.

π is dead: long live τ

In the end, which is worse, someone who thinks "space is deep" and smokes acid erryday or some office mule who measures angles all day just so he can brag about a number on his bank account (or worse: wish he could) and doesn't even remember what it is like to be human?

He doesn't. He's just heard about Galois once and his epic life story. Concerning the mathematics, he knows nothing, but goes babbling around as if he did.

And yes, abstract algebra is not taught in high school, anywhere in the world.

I've never heard of a person like that. Why would someone talk about something he doesn't understand?
Or do you happen to know Galois theory and be frustrated that some people don't, yet somehow be ironically elitistic about it? Because that's how you sound.

Galois theory was just an example.

Take FLT or the abc conjecture, for example.
How many know about number theory and how many are talking about "le epic Shinichi Mochizuki proof maths so pretty xD"

The angle-measurer, of course. But only because le nerdy phd in atheism can still grow to see how much of a blowhard he is, and eventually turn into an actual thinking person who isn't a worthless sack of shit.

Now, how often does the smoker-of-weed-everyday ends up turning into the angle-measurer is another question.

Oh, good. Thanks for clearing it up.

I wonder the same thing. But there are people who do that.
