One of the best ways I've found to game karma systems is to make two accounts (preferably one of them is a sleeper), then use the one you don't care about to post hateful, stupid, uninformative crap, then make the account that you really like correct them in a reasonable, rational manner.

Also, much better way is to detect reposts (there's a site for that even, karmadecay or something), then repost top-voted comments from the original thread.

Of course, just doing that would be boring, so when the framework is in place you might begin considering something along the lines of what >>6 proposed, detecting reposts fuzzily, replying to the top comment in raising posts with something that was upvoted in response to similar comments etc.

I, personally, am nurturing terrible plans about gradually replacing /r/shitredditsays commenters with mechanical feminists. Comments don't get more low-effort that what's upvoted there, and the potential for eventual shitstorm is high.
