RSA in Java!

Name: Anonymous 2013-03-04 12:25

So, I'm working on implementing a program to take in a string and convert it to a set of number by way of RSA.  I've assembled all the algorithms necessary for the program from my number theory book and my further interest is two fold.

Has anyone here every done this?  (or used RSA in any other programming language?)  And, what is a good reference for the BigInteger class in Java?  I've never had a reason to use it, so I got rusty on how it works.

I did it in python. Probably way easier than java since java sucks with big numbers. Use either google.com or even better, http://docs.oracle.com/javase/6/docs/api/.

I wrote an implementation of RSA in JavaScript.

Of course any prime numbers greater than 10^3 are slow as fuck for decryption.

I need to implement a quick exponentiation algorithm.

Using doubles to store integers sounds like something the Jews would invent to keep us down.

I had to use a BigInteger library because JavaScript can't do large numbers.

Don't change these.
