FUCK PROGRAMMING

Name: Anonymous 2013-02-15 17:01

That little faggot who plugs in network cables makes the same money I do, with way less stress and no education beyond a CCNA! Why the fuck didn't I just go into networking and have his fucking job?

others dont go to college and make even more money.

Um, you can take his job if you like faggot. Just get certified and replace him. I expect 99.999% uptime from you.

Yeah, and they suck too.

I could probably do better. The network is down half the fucking time anyway. At least I know how to read the fucking manual before I rape the configuration of a live system. I can also probably make dumb decisions that do nothing but feed Cisco, like replacing the wired network with a shittier, wireless one that requires new network cards and access points. That should be pretty easy because I'm pretty sure Cisco has people who come by and tell you how to do that. I am also pretty great at failing to install a VPN concentrator for 6 months in a row.

Maybe I will go get certified.

You are the dumbass that racked up $900,000 in student debt that's going to be obsolete when the singularity hits.

underwater welder
airline pilot
oil rig roughneck

Wait, there are still underwater welder jobs?!? Skyscraper window washer is easy if it comes with a parachute. I'd buy a jetpack too in case of emergencies.

>>8
Yeah, but you make money, and no certification required. Just dress well. You do not want to get contaminated.

That AI won't replace my job if it knows what's good for it.

I feel sorry for the network guys. At my first job, they were using public IPs in the private network. I guess that was fine in 1995, when they had 25 computers and no internet, but they let it grow to 1000+ computers and a huge, ugly NAT by 2008. I've got no idea how it even worked out why someone would do something like that. I pity the guy who has to maintain that or replace it.

Also, I was updating old activeX controls in VB6 there. Coincidence?
