It wouldn't be too out of the question for a data recovery company to fund OS-crashing viruses.

You can pirate movies and the MPAA will pay money to legal teams to ``get it back''. In theory all you'd need to do is get immigrants, get them to pirate things, help catch them, then work with the lawyers. You would then have your own endless cash grab courtesy of the MPAA.
