They just made it look like a natural constraint while in fact it's just planned
obsolescence senescence. Also the software (brain) comes with
no documentation despite its incredible amount of complexity, and while reverse-engineering efforts are in progress, we are far from obtaining a proper model of its function. This lack of documentation also causes a (literally) tragic case of vendor lock-in, preventing us from moving our brain data ("minds") to other devices, by not specifying how the data is encoded nor how to interpret/run it.
