I know Erlang string handling in general has been terrible! for a long time but this should have had some attention at some point by now? What the shit is JavaScript is doing up there at the top anyway? I refuse to believe this madness.

That's the fastest category for Javashits anyway, things get worse quickly from there. I also find it a bit strange that a language implementation with this much attention on the benchmarks game has 3 programs missing (which could potentially move the mean cpu time up, bringing it down the rankings), programs like pidigits. Lua, Erlang, etc. are only missing 1.
