What if I'd like to decide how my content is presented...
...with no exception (i.e I'm displaying a work of art to you)?
...with exceptions (i.e. You can see it, this and that way, but no other way).
...with no exceptions (i.e. Here's my content and do what you want with it)
...with "some" exceptions (i.e. Here's my content, this is how you should present it, although you could ignore that if you'd like).
...with something else than a browser and fricking HTML?
