I need a new language after I learn PHP, simply because I have no idea.

If you don't already know JS, learn enough to be able to do some AJAX shit.  You'll only have to do it once or twice, then go to jQuery.  There are other JS libraries/frameworks, but this one is the most popular and it's used everywhere.

Make sure your HTML/CSS is decent and you can easily get a web design job.  If you're still down with PHP, use it to crank out Wordpress websites/plugins/themes.  Get up to speed on SQL queries for fun and profit.  Easy money.

You can learn some Ruby/Python to expand your web dev skills.  PHP has a couple of frameworks (Drupal, CakePHP, CodeIgniter)  that you might want to get up to speed on to get more web cash.

If you want to learn to code, I'd suggest starting at C and then you'll be able to handle nearly any other language.  Then there's C++, Perl, Lisp, etc.  Learning new languages becomes a whole lot easier once you get the basics of C out of the way (a lot of them are based off of C anyway).

Good luck!
