How many apps do you have on the appstore ? NONE? That's what I thought.

Looks like a made up personality for TV. What are his "apps" anyway?
do you have on the appstore?
I've written a few games, but they are in Lisp and use stolen graphics. I also despise C/C++/Java/C#, so there is no way I'll ever do any commercial coding.

video also features a lot of apple products, so it could also be just a big apple ad.

I actually have several apps in the App Store, more than I can tell you off the top of my head in fact.

Visual novel sounds too simple. I'm doing a 2d RPG with stolen graphics.
Alas fags at artist forum refused to help me adapting graphics
http://www.wayofthepixel.net/index.php?topic=15007.0
they also perma-banned me.
That is why I avoid forums.

That's not a visual novel!
Read the description:
"Open-world RPG based on the fictional game with the same name. Written in Common Lisp."

https://github.com/GingFreecss/Greed-Island/blob/master/Rules%20of%20the%20game
All the items you find in the game can be converted into cards. Book is used to store the cards.
When you acquire an item, it immediately turns into a card. (Eg: Finding and taking a sword will automatically turn it into a card)
What is the point of it? Is it a card game with rock-paper-scissors mechanics? How do you represent "open world" in a card game? Where are the RPG elements?
I remember Magic the Gathering RPG, it was awful! Despite having awesome pixelart illustrations:

If so, that's pretty cool.

Oh yeah, you're right.
...vertexBuffer...
glXYZ()...
...he definitely wrote that stuff himself.
Also,
mfhi and
mflo aren't pseudo instructions. Especially since LO and HI aren't directly adressable.

I also fucking hate how in the video they just scroll the code Matrix-style. It's fucking retarded.
Also, I don't know if the code they used in overlays is his actual code, but if you pause it, it looks like template code with comments like "If appropriate, add code necessary..." so I guess most of "his" code is borrowed from Apple's Obj-C examples.
Still, he has a good headstart on me. I don't know half as much as he claims to.
