I decided to check out this "/b/" that many people are talking about on here. Just a few minutes ago, on the front page alone, I saw a thread dedicated to natural women in demeaning poses, an anti-Semitic symbol, a mockery of Islam, racist images and language, jokes about rape, a drawing of a prepubescent girl being violated by foreign objects, advocation for substance abuse, gambling, references to violent video games, derogatory terms for minority sexual preferences, drawings of sexual intercourse between anthropomorphic animals, photos of mutilated human bodies, threats towards an ex-girlfriend, and all-around negativity.

What does ``trigger warning'' even mean any more? I used to post on BUS-list in the 90s, where it meant a depressing post that could cause the reader to self-harm. Now what does it mean? ``Potentially offensive''?

That reminds me, I haven't visited the ashlands for a few years.  I wonder how the things are going there, or if it even still exists.
