What newsgroups are you subscribed to /prog/?

Found an excellent free provider that even allows binary newsgroups (25gb per month cap, 1mbit d/l speed)

comp.lang.c
comp.lang.lisp  (obligatory)
uk.finance
uk.politics.misc

I used it for a little bit years ago, from the Sylpheed GUI mail client.

I would like to try again, using an Emacs-based client.  I presume GNUS would be the most powerful, but I already use MEW for my email.  Do you think GNUS has compelling enough advantages, or should I be fine sticking with MEW?
