- they're expensive
- you can't use them without bullshit crapware; even if you generate a netlist with your own tools, you still don't have the specs required to bake the bitstream
- have I mentioned they're expensive?
- they're not cheap

Okay, where do I find a decently large (~1MiB) SRAM chip?
