Machine naming

I'm typing on Ptolemy and over there, Delphium is playing music.
What do you name your computers? Do you stick to a theme?

I have computers with three operating systems, I also have multiple notebooks and desktops. I use a notebook as a media center, the other one is a simple notebook.

I named them

debian-desktop
windows7-workstation

debian-notebook
debian-mediacenter

I never confuse them because the last part of the hostname describes the purpose of the machine. Oh, I'm not some kind of retarded fat American who buys redundant electronics either. There might be 2 laptops, but each one serves a different purpose.

This also has the advantage of knowing what computers are on and what OSs were booted and how many of them are connected to the LAN just by looking at the router's info page.
