"Smart"phones are depreciated

Sorry, I don't like to play mindless games or ruin my ears listening to shit quality music or "browsing" the internet in a shitty way to pass time in a mindless way. So I simply use a "dumbphone" ("smart"phone users should be called dumbusers) that I use only for only text and making/receiving calls.

Want a gps? use a handheld gps. Time? get a watch. Internet browsing/ssh? Get a small laptop.

"Smart"phones are a jack of all trades master of none device and used only by dumb white collar kids that have nothing important going on in their lives.

for 99% of people, they are better than normal computers.
socially acceptable to pull out in public, no malware, no configuration, always with you, no typing, simpler interfaces, curated app store and so on.


people hate feeling stupid. that is why they love how I met your mother and dubstep. Nothing to figure out. Nothing that would be beyond a monkey's intelligence. I'm safe here.

Yes it is inferior in every way to a thinkpad with ganoo plus linux. but power is scary. freedom is scary.
