HTML5 Canvas, JS with jit, even WebGL exists usable and across the board. For lagging users there can be some wrapper containing webkit.

Yeah because a program with GUI complexity in the class of Maya, 3D Studio, AutoCAD etc is totally going to be usable when reimplemented as an HTML form with a canvas tag.
