At least Slashdot has the self awareness to admit descending into echo chamber irrelevance. I've tried reddit, but the stench of self importance is just overpowering.

Reddit is such a good idea, it's almost a shame that it's full of twats and autistic folk.

Reddit's shittery is a direct result of its broken karma system. The fact that the admins are pedophiles neckbeards doesn't help, but it would have happened even if they'd been decent people.
Link aggregators existed before Reddit, and most of them are better.
Reddit is only popular because Digg decided to delete that HD-DVD decryption code, and since this was the height of Chanology and Digg was taking moralfaggotry to new levels, they all had to leave for Reddit.

So all we need to do is get some numbers deleted from Reddit, and we'll be rid of it?

An anonymous link aggregation site where only links (but not comments) can be up/downvoted would be nice. No profiles, no karma, no badges, no accounts, etc.
And no user-run sub-categories.
