Are you kidding me? Conversing on /prog/ has always been a matter of shouting into the void and hoping your message reached the other decent person here instead of being drowned out by the shitstorm, and sometimes waiting for months on end for that storm to subside sufficiently.
/prog/ is a lot of things, but an example of a board working well without active moderation it isn't.
