I do most of my computing stuff in the shell, which sometimes attracts a lot of attention. ``OMG, are you a hacker?!'' and so on.

Difference is, I'm not trying to be deep and mysterious, or to stand out, I'm just trying to get work done. And when I basically tell people to fuck off or give some non-committal answer like, ``It's not important,'' or, ``You wouldn't understand,'' it just makes people more curious.

People are annoying.
