new datastructures for communication

on 4chan/facebook you have flat lists or stacks

google is just a hash map

most websites use nested trees

what about zigzags?

most discussions tend to branch off. how can we feed them back into the main tree, like in DVCS? that way everyone stays on topic, and consensus will be reached.

Maybe like a circle buffer. and given enough velocity, a discussion could break out of the main loop into a smaller buffer. and it would filter down, but eventually have to merge back.

I just need direct access to people's thoughts and I can implement this system. I need apple to embed computers into people's brains. An iBrain or an iMind, if you will. A unified consciousness, thinking in unison, exploring into each other. Except there is no each other anymore. We are god.

What >>2 said. Still, making your own data structure is always better. Instead of numeric and character/glyphs, use your own byte words, and optimize them for chorded input. Think of it like SNES/Famicom unlocked states with passwords. You can have more than one identical state for 2 or 4 passwords.

I forgot the technical word. But if you played Rockman X, remember that you could use 2 passwords for the same unlocked states. IOW, lots NOR gates/switches in the code.

Don't change these.
