I remember typing with something like this once, some years ago.

Just played with it for a few minutes, and it was weird....

anyway, what's the best input method you've used for coding?

Did you flash coreboot on it?

You can grab Stallman, but let me have his Lemote!

I didn't know you could.  I'll go ahead and probably brick it; see you in #flashrom.

What do you know, it actually worked.  Damn, the boot-up is really fast, takes less than a second to boot the MBR.  Too bad suspend doesn't work.  Who cares, it's unsafe anyway; hibernating to encrypted swap is da shit.

I'd be more surprised if you could get anything involving the embedded controller to werk. Those little fuckers never do anything right. One day I'll find the person who decided they deserved their own EEPROM and bash their pointy little head in.

Actually, ECs that share flash with the BIOS exist, and they are the worst since there is usually no way of on-line reflashing without crashing the EC, so you have to physically remove the chip every fucking time.

Wow, I wasn't aware of that. Systems that don't leave you a place to stand during reprogramming are the absolute worst.

If only manufacturers just added a tiny physical switch and an extra flash chip (it's not like they're expensive, fuck).  That way you would be guaranteed never to brick your computer (unless you're fucking retarded and rewrite both chips).

Don't change these.
