I know this... I was just surprised. All the Python import jokes have led me to believe that it has a decently sized library of third-party shit. Combine that with the fact that most of time I ever hear anyone even talking of Ruby is when they're speaking about Rails.

This actually makes me glad I'm using Ruby as my main scripting language, especially when you consider that it's faster than python, php, and perl
