Me, I'm prototyping a Configuration class in PHP which I'll port to Google Go when I'm satisfied with the interfaces/format of the parser. It uses regular expressions which I heard are not so fast in Go, but I'm only loading the configuration when the application starts or the files change so I'm not worried.
Tall me /prog/, what are you working on?

I'm implementing an Enlightenment (E17) environment on InfernoOS using Limbo. The API is inspired by E and it will make use of Inferno idioms whenever it can.

Copying intelligent educational data is illegal but copying idiotic religious anti-data isn't? What kind of backwards society are we living in? Is this why everyone is so stupid in every point in history?

Copyright is supposed to encourage people to author new works by offering them a timeframe to control the copying of those works. Why don't you author your own intelligent data to share with people?

Taking some clusterfuck PHP ecommerce site and upgrading it so it will work with PHP 5.
Then I have some email newsletters that need to formatted with HTML tables.
After that, just a bunch of shit Wordpress sites to fix.
Such is life of a freelance web "developer".
Once that shit's done, I'm playing with Perl for some good time coding fun!!

Please don't use tables to do style formatting. Use tables for structuring tabular data.

You're a shitty web developer, and you should feel bad
I'm working on an mkv to GIF maker. I'll be using Java and xuggler. I plan to put dead frame detection using edit distance in there too, so the quality will be good
I am working on a serious project and there's no way I would speak about it on /prog/ because it could then be used to destroy my reputation. I wish visiting /prog/ weren't shameful.

Sending HTML emails is like cross-browser compatibility x 10 due to having to accommodate shit like Outlook and Gmail. Then you have to write a text email in case some asshole thinks it's 1996. Tables, while a shit way to design a website, are supported in most email client software. Oh yeah, you also can't use javascript, so you have to rely on internal style sheets to emulate some of the behavior that js makes trivial. suck da anus.
I'm reading through the book "Land of Lisp" and programming with it.
Also kind of porting it to Racket because I really despise Common Lisp. The book is still very good though.

You should either write a text email or send a link to real web page in the email if you need complex formatting. You should never rely on JS to handle formatting. Ugly hacks like formatting tables annoy programmers who have to fix problems or update the system.
I'm writing a game in C++ and SDL about rape. You have to tail a girl for a while without being scene seen, then you find her alone, then rape and kill her. There's a battle with her, and there's a chance of getting caught which increases with every rape.
I'll be releasing under a pseudonym. I hope I can start some controversy with the bitches and whores!
for maximum virality, you should write it in canvas/javascript. Do you really think feminists can operate a computer well enough to download and install a video game?

Shit, you're right. But I'm already like 75% done and all the assets are made except the rape sounds which I need to download a bunch of 3D porn for. Besides, I don't know much HTML5 shit.
Am I doomed to languish in obscurity?

Targeting 11,12,13 year olds are the perfect way to quickly educate any audience on technical matters. I think it's a good thing to encourage people to quickly comprehend and then use technical material.
