To those who don't believe that what was designed as political protest (prayer against putin) was reinterpreted by russian state and church authorities as a punishable blasphemy (which, surprisingly, went completely unnoticed even by my friends who are mostly smarter than me), here are some fresh news: there is a parliamentary commitee (consisting mostly of ``opposition'' (libertarians, communists)) for adding blasphemy (``causing hurt to religious feelings'') into the criminal codex.  This movement has broad support from all parties.

All of this is so evil and absurd that I wouldn't be surprised if the russian ``opposition'' names putin their leader.  If life imitates art, russia imitates black dystopian comedy.

I am sure Satan is giving standing applause to president putin and patriarch cyrill today.

Oh yeah.  This ``pussy riot'' thing was set up from the beginning.  The girls should have known better, but it was impossible because they are radical feminists, and all radical feminists are neurotics, and neurotics cannot think clearly or plan one step ahead.  The guy who directed their actions (marat gelman) is a well-known kremlin dog on a leash who clumsily tries to look counter-cultural, and usually fails even that.
