ignores textboards for years, no promotion or alterations
assigns janitor who removes the only remaining posts
Sounds about right.

Janitors can delete posts, but they can't ban users.
Knowing moot, he's going to assign some imageboard halfwit who wants to mold /prog/ into his own vision which no one likes. Eventually he'll get bored of trying to troll us and never come back and lose the position.

Anti semitic discussion is not programming. 4chan has other outlets for such matters. Programming is about programming and has nothing to do with religion.
Everyone will just migrate to 4-ch if moot assigns a shitty janitor to /prog/, effectively killing off world4ch, meaning there won't be a need for a janitor anymore.
moot's probably planning on killing off world4ch eventually anyway.

but 4-ch has shitty verifications when posting
moot will probably be an idiot and assign an oblivious imageboard-goer the role of being a janitor for world4ch, and they won't have a good understanding of what is and isn't acceptable here, and probably delete perfectly acceptable threads and posts due to not being ``one of us'', effectively killing off our already-dying text board niche, forcing us to move to other text boards, like world2ch, 6ch, 4-ch, Tablecat's Lounge, etc. That will fragment our community even more, and eventually people will just move on from text boards and enter more web 2.0TM communities.
Telnet BBSes and Usenet are pretty much dead (aside from alt.binaries, but that doesn't count). IRC is full of circle-jerking faggots. And now it seems like the most popular English 2ch-style text board will go down the shitter as well. moot will hammer the final nail in our coffin.
