Name: Anonymous 2012-09-08 15:23

Hi guys! We almost done some interesting project for developers and IT-specialists.

http://codehum.com

Here is idea: We are listening twitter for IT-projects from Social Coding Repositories (GitHub, Bitbucket, CodePlex, SourceForge, GoogleCode). And show the most discussed.

What you think? About idea, usability, anything.
Thanks!

/prog/ is like a bastion of anti-social coding. How did you even get the idea to advertise this here?

Name: Anonymous 2012-09-08 16:36

>>19
They're probably pasting this same thing on other message boards, forums, etc. Probably just used a search engine to find programming-related sites and then spammed it on all of them. That's usually what shitty start-ups do in order to get noticed.

I like the idea OP

one suggestion: Don't split the ranking among different sites but derive some sort of concentrated ranking for all of them.
Then list the sites where different repositories can be found (some of them are found at several). The math to do it should be fairly straight-forward.
