official 4chan extension: https://github.com/4chan/4chan-JS

It doesnt affect textboards... once again we are forgotten

With a solid understanding of JavaScript comes an understanding of new realities, the broadening of new horizons and the exploration of new vistas.

The textboards have had a JSON interface for years. /prog/scrape uses it.

Is this what they needed a "Javascript wizard" for? lel.

Yeah but have we had a browser extension

Someone should get on that

I already have one, but I won't publish it because it would make it too easy for the /b/tards to find and shit up active threads that are off the front page.

I dislike you Javascript programmers

You mean Javascript WIZARDS

I don't know what the 4chan browser extension does, but there are dozens of /prog/ user scripts floating around.
I personally only use one that hides Cudder's comments. I used to use the SexpCode one, but it's buggy and incomplete.

MOOTTT WHY DON'T YOU USE SEXP!

This may surprise you, but moot is the ``in javascript'' guy.

It all makes sense now.

Anyone willing to help in something?

Time for an EMACS plugin, so Stallman can search for CP.

But the JSON interface was crippled in some retarded way pertaining to tripcodes, no?

Name: Anonymous 2012-09-06 22:17

http://dis.4chan.org/json/prog/1346872943/
Imageboards are so behind the times.

because we obsolete noobs like you

Name: Anonymous 2012-09-07 1:05

Only that there's no way to tell from the JSON whether someone used a tripcode or just put a ``!" in the name field.

Don't change these.
