Last night I had this dream that there was a textboard resembling /prog/ except you could post whatever JavaScript and HTML you want (like 190chan, but actually popular and with different sub-boards). One of the threads on the /hax/ board had a warning in red text stating "hold down the spacebar to block keyboard automation macros," so that's what I did. Suddenly a Command Prompt (this was on my Windows laptop) opened up and text
format /y /u c: was entered, but the spacebar caused it to be interspersed with spaces, preventing the command. I hit Alt-F4 to close it and a splash screen opened up. A window that looked like one of those stereotypical ``hacking tools'' flashed for a split second and I realized "damn, I should have backed up my hard drive." It shut down and a message said it wouldn't boot Windows without the Ethernet. I plugged in an Ethernet cable and it booted, but it was not the typical Windows boot screen. It was an orange dragon with an eel coming out of its mouth, with a background of gears and futuristic buildings. Fortunately, Windows started and my files seemed to be there, but my background was different. It was some faggy imageboard/Reddit rage face shit. I went back to this textboard, trying to find a way to restore my computer. There was another thread and this color ASCII art pink-haired anime girl appeared and my computer restarted. It was Recovery Console and I saw this WIN.EXE and a bunch of temporary files that looked out of place. I deleted them and Windows rebooted but this time it was the anime girl as the boot screen. My Desktop background was an animation of a laughing Stallman head on the body/background of /g/'s costanza.jpg. All of my precious files were replaced by rage face and advice animal image macros. Then my computer started showing thousands of pop-up ads that wouldn't close. Then I woke up.
