I do contributed, pointing that OP wastes time, reinventing the wheel and his utility copies Photoshop functionality, while he would be much better writing a plugin/script for Photoshop. Onto which OP and other posters answered that Photoshop is too complex for them and they want a dumbed down solution.

Since where are there languages that aren't bad??

It's obvious you don't know how people work. People want to be correct. You should let them struggle in their suboptimal solution and give them hint in how to make that particular method work as best as it can.

It isn't about who you know, it is all about who you trust. You trust people that you know i.e. your friends and respected subject experts. The don't know you so they'll mistrust your contrarian advice by default. They'll trust your advice if you actually agreed with them, no matter how demonstratively wrong they are.

Human psychology always works like this: I am right and you are wrong until I trust you enough to heed your advice; this is a psychological fact.
