for me, it must be socket.io which brings tomorrow's two-way communication between client and server to TODAY

Name: Anonymous 2012-08-18 21:33

>>1 I know rite, socket.io changes everything there is about client-server programming. All hail node.js too, don't forget.

Microsoft invented that over 15 years ago, but they called it ActiveX.

Name: Anonymous 2012-08-18 23:26

>>4
But now it's going to work on more than one platform

Name: Anonymous 2012-08-19 5:52

>>5
ActiveX, despite being a complicated ``Microsoft technology'', is a binary standard, which means it may work on any platform. The problem is that no one puts much effort in implementing that shit. This happens too often in the Unix world.

what a joke! favorite js library? js is totally lacking in libraries (dont say node/npm you will only embarrase yourself more). Even Lua comes with a complete set of libraries for doing almost any task, and most those libraries were written by the 3 language devs. I cant believe how a huge language like js can still go without a standard set of libraries for common tasks

I'm C# guy
son of a bitch js
you want only two kinds of containers (one actually)?
you want PHP-grade performance, crashes, no backward compatibility, average developer age being 18?
node.js is disgusting
npm is a murderer

Objective-C is the best language ever. It combines C and everything that allows like high performance, the object-oriented features from any modern language, and the flexibility of dynamic typing from Javascript (seriously beats the Sepples template nightmare).

Name: Anonymous 2012-08-20 2:16

>>17
Yeah, Objective-C is all hunky dory until one of your apps crashes in production and all you can get to troubleshoot it if you're lucky is a snapshot of the stack. At least modern languages give you a traceback. This is where OC really starts to show its age.

Name: Anonymous 2012-08-20 2:50

w-w-what do you think the stacktrace is? what does some iShit artifact have to do with the language? IHBT

for me, it must be socket.io which brings tomorrow's two-way communication between client and server to TODAY
Is it robust and cloud compatible? Does it improve the productivity of my business? Is it deployable?

Set theory is commonly employed as a foundational system for mathematics, particularly in the form of Zermelo–Fraenkel set theory with the axiom of choice. Beyond its foundational role, set theory is a branch of mathematics in its own right, with an active research community. Contemporary research into set theory includes a diverse collection of topics, ranging from the structure of the real number line to the study of the consistency of large cardinals.

For example, the degree of membership of a person in the set of "tall people" is more flexible than a simple yes or no answer and can be a real number such as 0.75.

The axiom of choice asserts the existence of such elements; it is therefore equivalent to:

Given any family of nonempty sets, their Cartesian product is a nonempty set.

Don't change these.
