I don't know, really. I use Java to make Android applications and stuff, but really enjoy C++ and C just for general programming. I know java is insanely bloated and stuff, but it still has it's uses.

So, in the end, FORTRAN wins.

Java is good for somethings,

but it is obvious which language is superior here.

Java is going to be a dead language in ten years. Python, C#/ASP.NET, and Ruby/PHP are ruling website development where java used to be so popular.

c++ has way more functionality with half the resource dependency.
